Spring Break
No lessons April 2-5, due to Carmel Spring Break.
Tuition remains at $128 for the month.
Studio Policy states that it is not necessary to remit on or before a vacation Yet, it's certainly appreciated. If you wish, you may remit at the last lesson of March, but it is not mandatory.
SOLO RECITALISTS!
Congratulations to High Schoolers Lauren Zettler and Laura Bemis. The girls performed a solo recital in Munger Hall on March 3, 2001. (Click here to see the program: Recital Program) Look for their names in the Hall of Fame. Who will be next? If interested, talk to Mrs. McIntyre.
I've created an Annotated List of Piano Camps to help answer some of your questions. I may have brochures on hand. So, check with me, if you're intereseted in a particular camp. I encourage everyone to consider a summer camp! Students always return with wonderful experiences!
Also, I'll be asking students to fill out a questionnaire regarding interests for summer piano lessons at our studio. Summer is the perfect time to enhance favorite musical areas, like: music technology, learn a concerto, two-piano works, duets, show tunes, improvisation, etc.
There is still great interest in the New York trip. I'll be sending in my application and deposit in mid-March. This should be a real memory maker for you and your child! Let me know if you need another brochure. An exact duplicate of all materials is found on this web site for your convenience. Invite a friend or relative to go along!
New Rosters will go home with students in March. Use these if you need to switch lessons. Remember, my schedule is always current on the web site, and it is my policy to not give make-up lessons on an additional day and time; there are simply no time slots.
Sound Safari (c.2000) - Our learning module on sequencing MIDI files is progressing well. We are deep into the jungle, now! Look for MIDI files on our web site in the Spring and Summer.
