Spring Recital plans are underway.
Hopefully, everyone will play one solo and perhaps a duet or duo-piano
work. What fun! We need to make final repertoire decisions before
the first week of April, when most of us have Spring Break.

Spring Break is April 3 - April 7. There will be no lessons during this time. Tuition rate remains the same. If you are taking a different week off than this one, I may be able to offer you an extra lesson, during cancelled time slots, as they arise (from now to the end of the May). Regardless, there are no lessons the first week of April.
Also, I have a big request. My bills are due by the 8th of the month and taxes are due on the 15th. I would really appreciate remittance by April 8th, even if you are out of town. You are welcome to pay me at the last lesson of March, or send it in the mail on the first of April. I understand that the Studio Policies Letter mentions remittance at the lesson after Spring Break, but I'd really appreciate it mailed on the first, if possible. A giant thank you to a couple of you who paid for April early. Thanks.
Student Sequences - Many students are learning simple sequencing techniques with a program called Musicshop. We're really excited about this. Beginning in April, we'll have a new page added to our web site called Sequences. Students are busy working on their own mixes of various pieces. This activity is really "on-the-edge". You are really surprising me at how quickly you are navigating yourselves through the activity.
