Our Spring Recital has been changed to Saturday March 10, 2007. Our studio has been given use of the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center on the campus of the University of Indianapolis! Although this invitation came a little late and causes some to alter their calendars, yet it is such a rare and privileged opportunity to perform in this hall. I have also invited Alex's cello ensemble to perform in the hall. Polina Umansky, his teacher, was thrilled to also offer this performance opportunity to her students. I thought they would open our program for us! For more important information about our spring recital, go to: MCINTYRE MUSIC SPRING RECITAL
What this means to you, is: your check needs to be written a little differently. Please remit to: Lola McIntyre, P.C. I have considered this for a long time and finally bit the bullet. Lola McIntyre PC will be the umbrella to my two businesses: McIntyre Music Studio and McIntyre Realty.
Last year I attended real estate school and have been a card carrying REALTOR® since then. Since December, I work through Century 21 - Scheetz on Carmel Drive. I have just sold a house in my own neighborhood at 897 Joann Court. Since some of you may read about me in the Indianapolis Business Journal or see signs with my name, I just want to take this time to assure you I have not made plans to stop teaching in my private studio. I fully appreciate and do not take for granted the music investment you are making for your children - I make the same for mine, too. To teach your children breathes life into my soul. However, since our children also require an well-rounded education and they are rightfully in school during the day, there are only so many billable hours as private piano teacher. Therefore, I have shifted the remainder of my free time to real estate. This will afford me to remain a private piano teacher and at the same time help my own sons with their educational costs. If you know anyone who is looking to sell or buy a house, I am qualified to help them. And, as a valued reference, I assure you, I would give them my best. Please be assured this decision to shift my free time focus was not an easy one, and I do it to preserve the honor to remain a private piano teacher to your children. Respectfully, Lola McIntyre.
Over the holiday I've enabled ways of you contacting me more efficiently. I now have a Smart Phone which is connected to all my email accounts. If you email me at lmcintyre@indy.rr.com or phone my cellular at 502-1273, I should get the message more quickly. All my emails, texts, and cell voice mails will arrive to one phone. DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE ON MY HOME PHONE, however - I don't check it as often.
