Welcome to all piano teachers around the world! This is a modest reference tool to serve as a point of departure for further exploration.
Three criterion puts these camps on my list: 1) my own students have attended and returned in subsequent years, 2) parent recommendations, 3) respected colleague involvement. This page gets almost 1,000 hits every spring.

Statement of this Web Site.
How can we help but reflect at the dawn of the new century?
Music
Technology
The use of music technology as a tool for private piano instruction is growing
rapidly. See how my personal use of electronics has evolved in one music
studio. We all begin somehow and somewhere!
Starting
a CD Library For Your Piano Studio
Many teachers have wondered which CD recordings to purchase for their studio
to help piano students. I have detailed a very basic list of music which
appeals to the late beginning/early intermediate student. More important
than the choices, are the reasons for the choices. It is worded
in a way to appeal to students since I have used this as a link for the Kid's
Piano Page and Teen Music Surf Site.
Consider having one of these three pages on your browser to show a student at
the end of their lesson. You may quickly notice that its sole purpose
is to get them to the piano to explore tone production and repertoire, plus
sharpen their listening skills.
